Val’s dreams had been fitful, a montage of Hell, demons and monsters chasing her through flames. No one would help her, and she was alone in her torment. She ran and ran, and came across a faucet. Feeling the slightest bit of hope, she turned its handle, hoping to douse the flames, but it was not water that flowed. It was sticky and dark red, oozing like oil. It was blood. She thrashed herself awake, and laid in the bed, sheets damp with sweat, her body shivering. She desperately missed her...

I'm so glad I didn't give Oak frosted tips like I was considering doing. This scene would've looked ridiculous (as does any image featuring someone with frosted tips).

I changed a few things recently, both my hand posture (which was garbage) and Oak's costume. Rather than basing it off a football uniform, I wanted to go with a letterman jacket, and I gave him some good ol' 2000s Zac Efron hair. I'm gonna update the previous pages to reflect this change as I find the time and hand strength.
